The Wizarding Wars left behind loss, pain, and a heightened sense that love and innocence are fleeting. Children became soldiers, soldiers met Death, and Death found a friend in Voldemort. You-Know-Who wasn't the only villain and Harry wasn’t the only victim in the War: the winding trail of destruction was felt by the Trio, Draco, and an entire generation of children. Between fighting and dying, people managed to find moments of happiness, but even those moments were fleeting.
